Allah Resulü (S.A.V) buyuruyor: Bir kimse Fetih suresinin tamamını ramazan ayının birinci gecesi baştan sona kadar okursa ve bu okuyuşunu Allah rızası için yaparsa gelecek aynı güne kadar bir sene müddetle Cenab-ı Hakk o kulunu himayesine alır. Velilerden bir kimse diyor ki: Ramazan ayını ilk defa görür görmez bir kimse Fetih suresini üst üste üç defa okursa Cenab-ı Hakk o kulunun rızkını gelecek sene aynı güne kadar bol bol ihsan eder.

Rasulullah (s.a.v) şöyle buyurmuştur: Bu gece bana öyle bir sure indirildi ki o sure benim için dünya ve içinde bulunan her şeyden daha hayırlıdır. (sahihi buhari) bir diğer hadiste: Fetih suresini okuyan kimseye hudeybiye ağacının altında Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v) e biat eden kimse gibi sevab vardır.(Ubey bin kab r.a dan)

İbni mesud r.a dan: Rasulullah buyurdu ki: Ramazanın birinci gecesinde kim nafile namaz kılıp namaz içinde Fatihadan sonra Fetih suresini okursa Allah-u teala o kimseyi bütün sene korur. (Ruhul Beyan tefsiri)

Ebu Said (r.a.) ve Ebu Hureyre (r.a ) rivayetinde ise bu namazın sonunda selam verildikten sonra 10 defa Kadir suresi ve 10 defada Efendimize salatü selam okunur ilavesi vardır. (İhyayı Ulumiddin)

From Ibn Masud r.a: Rasulullah said: Who in the first night of Ramadan prayer and prayer in prayer after the Fatah then reads the surah of Fatah Allah-u teala he protects anyone for the whole year. (Spiritual Expression Commentary)
